Black Adam Review

Black Adam Review

Review of Black Adam: Teth Adam received the supreme powers of the gods in prehistoric Kahndaq. After employing his abilities for retribution, he was captured and transformed into Black Adam. After almost 5,000 years, Black Adam has evolved from a real person to a story and a legend. Now that he is free, the Justice Society, made up of Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone, challenges his one-of-a-kind brand of vengeful justice.

THE GOOD

I adore how Black Adam leaps into the action headfirst and doesn't look back. A hero is not Black Adam. He's not worried about human injustices or trying to save cats from trees. He's here for himself, after all. This is a novel perspective on the current superhero world. In spite of this, Black Adam has no difficulty being ruthless toward any roody poo sweet ass who dares to stand in his way. I think DC handled this character adaptation quite well, and I LOVE THIS. Dwayne Johnson is a better choice for the role of Black Adam than I had anticipated. I keep figuring I'll object to the fact that Dwayne Johnson has no background in that aspect of the culture.

THE BAD

Sometimes the tempo seems a little odd. The movie occasionally drags to add more narrative, but I want to see more action and bloodshed. The movie does everything it can to get to the present day and rushes through the introduction and backstory in the beginning. Sometimes I wish I could see more of Khandaq in the past to better comprehend its past. The movie almost feels like it's a little bit too lengthy, which can make the finale irritating. The final act's opening is a little sluggish. The momentum Black Adam develops for itself is abruptly stopped, albeit it does lend drama to the ending.
